MJP PROJECTS IN RIBA HEDQF
'SMALL BUDGET, BIG IMPACT!' PUBLICATION

The RIBA's Higher Education Design Quality Forum (HEDQF) has published a booklet 'Small Budget BIG IMPACT!' to tie in with their recent exhibition and film.

The aim of 'Small Budget BIG IMPACT!' is to celebrate small projects of high quality which have made a significant positive impact on life in universities and other HE institutions. Selection criteria included: design flair and imagination; exceptional added value; innovation; sustainability; occupant satisfaction; excellent use of materials; and enhancing accessibility and inclusion.

Two MJP projects are included : the University of Warwick Nursery and the University of Birmingham Steam Bridge.

'Small budget BIG IMPACT!' - the film featured eight of the projects (including MJP's SteamBridge) - each chosen because they embodied the ambition to use design innovation to extract the maximum value from modest funding. The 13-minute movie is available to view on Youtube.
