MJP RECEIVE RIBA AWARD FOR KENDREW QUADRANGLE

On the evening of Tuesday 15th November, Matteo Sarno of MJP was presented with an RIBA Award for Kendrew Quadrangle by RIBA Chief Executive, Harry Rich.
The RIBA South/South East Awards Presentation took place in the Jarvis Suite at the RIBA Headquarters, 66 Portland Place.

Aswell as the RIBA Award, Kendrew Quadrangle has received an Oxford Preservation Trust Award and was commended in the Dedalo Minosse awards.

Kendrew Quadrangle is the third MJP designed building at St Johns College Oxford. 6000sqm in area over four floors with a large basement the Kendrew Quadrangle consists of 80 student rooms with 6 flats for college fellows and related academic and communal facilities. It is arranged in a quadrangle open to the South. The scheme has a strong sustainability strategy while the design was informed by the historical significance of the central beech tree and adjacent listed buildings.
