Clifton Street Pedestrianisation

Our new pedestrian space lies in a Conservation Area, immediately north of Broadgate, in the City of London. This project acts as a focal point outside our landmark office development which we completed in 1997.

Designed in conjunction with the artist Daniel Chadwick, Crown Place is paved in York stone into which has been set a darker strip of Westmoreland green slate. Inlaid white carborundum discs represent the constellations of the night sky.

Cantilevered white concrete seating, combined with contemporary street lighting and planting, create an attractive aspect for Ten Crown Place and a dramatic new public space for the city.
